4 удивительный способа использования переработанных шин

Thanks to new technology that is developed each year, additional uses for recycled scrap tires are being developed constantly. Today, there are thousands of different ways that old tires can be re-used, either in their whole state or after going through a shredding or crumbing process. Here are some uses for recycled tires that you might not already know about:

Test Weights
Companies that rely on conveyer belts, material storage, lifting systems, or shelving generally put their equipment through a test phase to ensure that it can withstand as much weight as necessary for its specific purpose. Many times, companies rely on sand bags, water weights, or other expensive products for testing. But now, test weights can be made from 100% recycled tires. Rubber test weights make the testing process more affordable, safer, and require no cleanup in the case of a malfunction.

Sign Bases
Traditionally, road signage like stop signs, yield signs, speed limit signs, and detour signs either had to be installed permanently by digging up concrete or asphalt, or they had to rely on sub-par methods of temporary installation. Rubber sign bases make it easy to place road signs in almost any setting temporarily or permanently, depending on what is needed. Sign bases made from recycled rubber are heavy enough to keep signs stable in a variety of weather conditions, but can still be easily removed from the area if required.

Table Tops
The next time you eat at a restaurant or food court, it’s likely that you’ll be sitting at a table made from recycled scrap tires. Solid surface table tops made from recycled rubber can be used indoors or outdoors, and they don’t rust, break, chip, or stain like other tabletop material. They are sanitary due to their non-porous nature and will continue to look great even after years of use.

Rubber Rooftop Pavers
Many businesses or large living complexes rely on rooftop heating and air conditioning units. But venturing up to the roof to fix or maintenance those units can prove to be a risky task, especially in adverse weather condition. Rooftop pavers made from recycled rubber provide better traction on the roof without damaging shingles, gravel, or other rooftop material. These pavers provide the strength of concrete with only the weight of rubber.

These are just a few of the lesser-known methods of using scrap tires in other applications besides transportation. Eco Green Equipment specializes in creating machinery and equipment that economically creates usable material from whole scrap tires—material that is used to make products like table tops, sign bases, test weights, and more.
