SALT LAKE CITY, UT. September 30, 2017 — ECO Green Equipment, an international leader in the design and manufacturing of turnkey, cost-effective tire recycling systems, announced today the completion of a new tire recycling plant in Ukraine. An ECO crumb rubber tire recycling plant was installed in the Kiev region, Boryspil district, Ukraine, for the National Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) in September.
The new installation is the first tire recycling system ECO Green Equipment has installed in this country. The equipment and facility will provide the latest tire recycling technology for the region. This tire recycling system features shredding and separation technology exclusive to ECO Green Equipment.
German sports surfacing company, Polytan GmbH, and the National Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU Production, LLC), partnered on this large-scale project to provide rubber material for various turf projects throughout Europe. The facility will create approximately 700 thousand square meters of covering per year…with a potential to increase annual capacities of production up to 2 million square meters of artificial covering…equivalent to about 100 full-size football fields. The opening ceremony was held September 30, 2017, with the participation of the President of the Ukrainian Football Federation, Andrij Pavelko and Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister, Viacheslav Kyrylenko.
