The new blades feature 24 individual knife inserts which can easily be removed and rotated six times. These knifes have the potential to be re-sharpen one additional time after rotations for an additional six cutting edges. Customers can anticipate approximately $1.80 per ton in wear costs while the blade wear life is estimated up to 3 million PTEs.
